This article addresses a crash problem that can have the following error signatures:

SYMPTOMS
When you start or quit Outlook, you may experience any or all of the following symptoms:
- Outlook does not close and log off properly.
- Improper Outlook Profiles are loaded during startup.
- You receive MAPI-related error messages.
- When you start the WinFax PRO 10 Message Manager, Outlook 2002 does not appear in the WinFax PRO External Phonebook AutoLink list. When you click Tools, and then External Phonebook AutoLink, the link still does not appear. You cannot link WinFax PRO to Outlook 2002.
