SYMPTOMS
When you view a response to a meeting request in Microsoft Outlook 2000, the message header may be displayed as "From: User
on behalf of user
@domain
.com" instead of the expected "From: User
". This problem occurs only when the response to the meeting request was sent from an Exchange 2000 Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) client.
CAUSE
This problem may occur if the user who is mentioned in the message header does not have the primary Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) address (using the domain space on the M: drive) as an e-mail address. You can add this address manually or through the recipient policy.
