SYMPTOMS

After you turn off your Hewlett-Packard 5200C ScanJet scanner, the following error message may appear when you refresh the view in Device Manager:

Break instruction exception - code 80000003 (first chance)

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact the manufacturer of the scanner about the availability of an updated driver that addresses this issue.
