SYMPTOMS

The Lsass.exe system process may unexpectedly quit with a -1073741819 status code. When this occurs, your computer may shut down and then restart.

CAUSE

This problem can be caused by an access violation that happens randomly because an uninitialized handle was passed by a downlevel layer.

RESOLUTION
