SYMPTOMS

When you configure COM+ to perform access checks when authentication is enabled, the BASIC strings are not allocated correctly.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, obtain Microsoft COM+ Rollup Hotfix 15. For additional information, see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
