SYMPTOMS
If you try to copy files to a personal folders (.pst) file that exceeds the 1.82 gigabyte (GB) limit in Outlook 2002, you may receive the following error message:
CAUSE
This problem can occur because Outlook 2002 limits the .pst file size to approximately 1.82 GB.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office XP. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

There are two .MSP files that you need to install to enable this fix. The first .MSP file is the Outlook.msp file. The English-language version of this fix should contain the following files and versions:
File name Version --------------------------- Exsec32.dll 10.0.3131.0 Outllib.dll 10.0.3207.0 Outlph.dll 10.0.3124.0 Rm.dll 10.0.3012.0
The second .MSP file is the Olkintl.msp file. The English-language version of this fix should contain the following files and versions:

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Outlook 2002. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft Office XP Service Pack 1.
