SYMPTOMS
When you use Microsoft Internet Information Services 5.0 (IIS), the Exchange Server computer may stop responding. This happens when the computer is under stress and runs short of memory.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur because there is not enough memory to properly run the processes that are related to the Iisrtl.dll file that runs in Exchange.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
