SYMPTOMS

After you upgrade from Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP does not recognize your Olicom RapidFire 2327 Ethernet 10/100 PCI network adapter. Device Manager incorrectly identifies the adapter as an Intel 21143-based network adapter, and the driver information file (.inf) for the Olicom RapidFire 2327 network adapter is missing.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur because Windows XP does not support Olicom Ethernet adapters.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
