SYMPTOMS

When you insert a device-independent bitmap (DIB) into an OLE object field in Microsoft Access, the bitmap may not be displayed.

CAUSE

When you run Access on a Windows 2000-based computer, Access loses the OLE information that is necessary to render the object as a device-independent bitmap (DIB).

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS
