BizTalk Orchestration Designer Does Not Recognize Property Accessor Functions

SYMPTOMS

BizTalk Orchestration Designer allows you to bind a property accessor function of a COM+ component to a port in the XLANG schedule. However, when you reopen the schedule in BizTalk Orchestration Designer and run the binding wizard, you may receive the following error message:

One or more port messages reference a method that no longer exists on the selected interface. You must rerun the communication wizard and specify a new method.

CAUSE

BizTalk Orchestration Designer does not recognize property accessor functions.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000 Service Pack 2.
