OL2002: Error Message When You Use a Signature Certificate in the Security Settings

SYMPTOMS

If you attempt to select only a signature certificate in the security settings in Outlook 2002, you may receive the following error message:

You must specify an encryption Certificate for the Security Certificate

CAUSE

This problem occurs because Outlook 2002 supports the configuration of the security settings when both the signature certificate and the encryption certificate are specified.

RESOLUTION
