OL2002: Change Password Dialog Box Does Not Automatically List Name of Exchange Server

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Outlook, the Exchange Server box in the Change Password dialog box is not automatically populated. You need to know the name of your Microsoft Exchange Server computer to change your password.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Office XP. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

WORKAROUND

Type the name of the Exchange Server computer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
This problem was first corrected in Office XP Service Pack 1.
