Requirements
To follow these steps, you need:
- A Windows 2000 Server-based or Windows 2000 Advanced Server-based computer that is configured as a DHCP server.
- The Remote Server Administrative Tool package (Adminpak.msi) installed on the Windows 2000-based member server.
To Add Users to the DHCP Administrators Group on a Domain Controller
- Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Active Directory Users and Computers.
- In the console tree, expand the Users node by clicking the plus sign (+) next to Users.
- In the details pane, double-click DHCP Administrators. If DHCP Administrators is not listed, DHCP Services has not been installed.
- On the Members tab, click Add.
- Click Look In to display a list of domains from which you can add users and computers to the group, and then click the domain that contains the users and computers that you want to add.
- Double-click the users or groups that you want to add to the DHCP Administrators group, and then click OK.
- When you are done adding users or groups, click OK.
