SYMPTOMS

When you use Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server to join an online meeting, you may receive the following error message:

"The local video operation failed. Check your camera. Close all other video capturing software and verify it is not running in background."

CAUSE

This behavior can occur when you use the International Business Machines (IBM) Multiport Camera.

RESOLUTION
