SYMPTOMS
Neither the Site Builder nor the Web Author allow you to drag an item from SharePoint Portal Server into a Resolution or Content Management Server (CMS) 2001 placeholder.
RESOLUTION
To work around this problem, use any of the following methods:
- Copy the item from SharePoint into a general Microsoft Windows location (such as the desktop), and then drag the copy into your placeholder.
- Add the SharePoint item to a CMS resource gallery, and then drag the resource from the gallery into the placeholder.
- Click the Insert Image toolbar button to insert an image from SharePoint into a placeholder manually when you use the Web Author.
