SYMPTOMS

Certain pages can cause Netscape to crash if the pages include the following:

  • References to style sheets that cannot be resolved in the template.
  • Absolute positioning for DHTML classes within nested table references.


RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior:

  1. Ensure that the style sheets are resolvable by placing the URL used to reference them in a browser and verifying that a "404" error is not generated.
  2. Remove the absolute positioning reference in the template for the class.
