SYMPTOMS
When you transfer large blocks of data by using RPC over the NCACN_IP_TCP protocol, a performance drop may occur in Windows 2000. When the request exceeds 128 kilobytes (KB), the transfer rate is only roughly .87 MB/second.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
