SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to print a Web page while you are browsing the Internet with Internet Explorer, the Web page may not print.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you do not have the Unicode option as the selected default encoding language in Internet Explorer. To see this option, on the View menu, point to Encoding.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue:

  1. Start Internet Explorer
  2. Point to Encoding on the View menu.
  3. Click to select Unicode encoding language.


Note: You can determine the default encoding language by observing a bullet point (large dot) next to the selection.

and then double-click the selected text to go to the "To correctly display Web pages encoded in any language" topic.
