SYMPTOMS
When you use the Entourage update with Service Release 1 (SR 1) in the Classic environment of Macintosh Operating System X (Mac OS X), if you double-click message files or vCards that are included as attachments to e-mail messages in the attachment pane of the open message, these attachments may not open.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, save the attachments to a location on you hard disk, and then either drag the attachments to the appropriate location in Entourage or double-click the attachments to open them directly.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
MORE INFORMATION
When you are using Entourage, you can drag vCard files to the address book list pane, and you can drag message files to any mail folder in the Entourage folder list.
If you double-click a vCard to open it, you can save it to the address book in the current identity. However, if you open a message file in the same manner, you cannot save the message file to a mail folder.
