SYMPTOMS
In the BizTalk Editor, when you try to rename a Record or Field to the name of an existing Record or Field, the following error message appears:
If the Records or Fields are named with the Korean Double-Byte Character Set (DBCS), the invalid naming is allowed when you click No and choose not to revert back to the original string.
In this case, the BizTalk Editor should block the invalid naming by having the user rename the Record or Field again.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft BizTalk Server 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in BizTalk Server 2000 Service Pack 1.
MORE INFORMATION
This condition has been observed on English and Korean versions of Windows 2000 when you use the Korean DBCS.
