SYMPTOMS

When you start a computer that runs Windows 2000 and that has Intuit QuickBooks installed, you may receive the following error message:

Qbagent.exe mrt initialize failure

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you need to update your version of QuickBooks 2000, including the QuickBooks Delivery Agent (Qbagent.exe), which is incompatible with Windows 2000.
