SYMPTOMS
If you configure Outlook 2002 to use an Internet Messaging Access Protocol (IMAP) server for messages and you click to select the Save Password check box, Outlook 2002 does not remember your password during a single execution and you receive the password prompt each time each time that you attempt to access the IMAP server.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Office XP. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
