SYMPTOMS
If a Commerce Server 2000 Pipeline references a pipeline component that doesn't exist or can't be created, and that pipeline component does not load any configuration information, the pipeline won't execute the component. The pipeline will continue processing, silently ignoring the failure.
CAUSE
This is a problem in Commerce Server 2000 related to incorrect error handling.
