SYMPTOMS
When you run Outlook 2001 for Mac in the Classic environment of Mac OS X, help files may appear in the Mac OS X version of the Help Viewer instead of the Classic version of the Help Viewer.

Outlook requires the Classic environment to run. However, Mac OS X can be used to facilitate certain functionality in Outlook.
When the Mac OS X version of the Help Viewer is running and you access the Outlook help files, the Mac OS X version of the Help Viewer displays the requested help files.
In the event that the Mac OS X version of the Help Viewer is not running and you request an Outlook help file, the Classic version of Help Viewer is launched.
There is not a setting to designate which help program Outlook will use. If you want to use the Mac OS X version of the Help Viewer, verify that Help Viewer for Mac OS X is open before you request an Outlook help file. You can do this by locating the Help Viewer program as an active program in the Dock.
If you want to use the Classic version of Help Viewer, you cannot have the Mac OS X version of the Help Viewer open when you request an Outlook help file. If the Mac OS X version of the Help Viewer is not open, then the Classic version loads automatically.
