SYMPTOMS

When using the Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback 2, you may lose forces after playing for a while.

This behavior may occur if you are using the device on a Gateway Select 1000 or 1200 computer system.

There is no workaround for this problem.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
