SYMPTOMS
When you configure Outlook 98 to work offline and then upgrade to Outlook 2002, the offline Address Book (OAB) is not accessible.
WORKAROUND
To work around this behavior, download the OAB after you perform the upgrade from Outlook 98 to Outlook 2002.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
