Summary:
While running the Works Setup program for a CGA on an IBM PC with PC-DOS Version 2.00, the resulting flicker on the screen flicker message screen is generated too quickly to determine the proper installation accurately. With PC-DOS Version 3.20, the screen will flicker for one to two seconds.
PC-DOS Version 2.00 is not updating the timer correctly on the computer. Works relies on having an updated timer. This problem was corrected with later versions of DOS.
