Speller Does Not Use Personal Dictionary from External Source

Problem: The personal dictionary file I created through the external source is not being used. I am being prompted for all of the words I just entered into it. The document used to create this dictionary is an alphabetically sorted list of words (non-case-sensitive sort). The same document is the target of the spell checking. The dictionary created is a case-sensitive sorted list, but Works only finds some entries that are listed in the personal dictionary.
Response: Works will create a list of words and sort in the following way:
- All capitalized words and words comprising all uppercase letters appearing first in the appropriate group.
- All words comprising lowercase letters only appear in the second half of the list, sorted alphabetically among themselves. The list looks like the following, with a carriage return and line feed after each word:
"AA Aa BB Bb aa bb ..."
If a word beginning with a lowercase “a” appears among the capitalized entries for the “A” group, Works will not find any word past the incorrect entry (lower in the list). In other words “Beta” would not be found as a correct word, even though it is in the personal dictionary. The sort order follows strict ASCII order. Note that all the uppercase letters have lower ASCII values than all the lowercase letters. Works sorts the list in a different order than many other products. Most sorts are done without paying attention to case so that the AAAs show up among the aaas.
