Description: Unable to serialize a certificate trust list
Event Type: Error

The error %Status% occurred while attempting to serialize a Microsoft Cryptography API (CAPI) certificate trust list at %Path%. This occurred during session %ReplicationID% and job %ReplicationJobID%.

Meaning: An error occurred while Application Center was attempting to serialize a CAPI certificate trust list.

Effect: The certificate trust list will be synchronized but might not work properly. Secured Sockets Layer (SSL) communication will not be available for some sites until the problem is fixed.

Possible Causes and Solutions

Certificate trust chain was changed: The certificate trust chain information in the certificate trust list is inaccurate or corrupt.

Root certificate is corrupt or missing: The root certificate or a certificate in the trust chain is missing or corrupt.
