SYMPTOMS
When you install the Microsoft Exchange 2000 Calendar Connector in an organization for the first time, during Setup, you receive an error message which states that you are not a Schema Administrator, when in fact you are; however, you are not signed on as a local administrator.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because you are not signed on as a member of the Local Administrator group on the Exchange 2000, the Schema Administrators group, and the Exchange Administrators groups.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, install the Calendar Connector when you are logged on as a local administrator, Exchange Administrator, and (for the initial Calendar Connector setup in the organization) Schema Administrator.
MORE INFORMATION
Subsequent installations do not require use of an account with Schema Administrator privileges because the schema is only altered during the original installation.
