SUMMARY

Event ID: 5106
Source: Application Center
Description: Could not load driver
Event Type: Error

Application Center could not load the driver %DriverID% during session %ReplicationID% and job %ReplicationJobID%. Status is %Status%: %StatusMessage%.

Meaning: Application Center could not load a synchronization driver.

Effect: If this is a cluster member, synchronization will not continue on this member for the objects or file types synchronized by the driver until this problem is fixed. The rest of the cluster is not affected by this problem. If this is the cluster controller, no synchronization for these objects or file types will happen on the cluster until this problem is fixed.

'Possible Causes and Solutions'

Object not available: The object has been renamed or deleted or is being used or locked by another application.

Remote sever not available: The server is off, has been disconnected from the network, or has been renamed.

Stopped services: One or more of the services that Application Center depends upon has stopped. Check the following services using the Services utility in Control Panel:

  • Application Center Synchronization
  • Application Center Cluster
  • Application Center Log Query Helper
  • Application Center Name Resolution
  • IIS Admin
  • Remote Procedure Call
  • Windows Management Instrumentation

Configuration store (metabase) corrupt: The store that Application Center uses for configuration data is corrupted or unavailable. Restart the IIS Admin service by using the Services utility in Administrative Tools. If this problem persists, contact your support personnel.
