SYMPTOMS
When a hidden-membership distribution list (DL) is replicated from Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 to Active Directory by the Active Directory Connector (ADC), a specific Access Control Entry (ACE) is stamped on it. When you use Exchange System Manager to create a similar hidden-membership DL, the same ACE is not stamped on it.
RESOLUTION
