SYMPTOMS
When you insert a file located on a network volume or share in a message and your network connection is lost, Outlook 2001 does not resume the file copy when the volume becomes available.
WORKAROUND
To resolve this problem, re-attach the file to the message.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
MORE INFORMATION
