SYMPTOMS
When you use Outlook 2002 with a Hotmail account, the Make This Folder Available Offline option is available even though the option does not work.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
MORE INFORMATION
If you have opened the root Hotmail folder (the one that requires you to log on) the Make This Folder Available Offline option does not work, even if it is available when you click Send/Receive Settings on the Tools menu.
