SYMPTOMS
When you print a message that contains a graphic image, a small "x" is printed instead of the image.
CAUSE
This problem can occur if you are using one of the following product combinations:
- Outlook 2000 (any build number earlier than 9.0.0.5414)
-and-
Microsoft Internet Explorer (any version other than 5.5 Service Pack 2) -or-
- Outlook 2002
-and-
Internet Explorer (any version other than 5.5 Service Pack 2)
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem use one of the following product combinations:
- Outlook 2000 (build number 9.0.0.5414 or earlier)
-and-
Internet Explorer (latest version)
The build number that is listed in this workaround section is installed by the update that is mentioned in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article:235309 Outlook E-mail Attachment Security Update

- Outlook 2002 (any version)
-and-
Internet Explorer (latest version)
NOTE: If you have Internet Explorer 6.0 and you are not using Microsoft Windows XP, you can remove Internet Explorer 6.0 to revert back to Internet Explorer 5.5.
