SYMPTOMS
Some property strings in Commerce Server 2000 Business Desk cannot be deleted after a value is assigned to them.
Business Desk may fail if you are trying to clear property strings in the user and profile management section (even if the fields are not mandatory).
Saving the changed record results in this error message:
The actual fields that present this problem may vary but only string type fields are affected.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Commerce Server 2000. This problem was first corrected in Commerce Server 2000 Service Pack 1.
