SYMPTOMS

When you use Qualcomm's Eudora 4.0 in HTML Mail mode to send a message with various attributes set, and then import the message from the Eudora Outbox to the Sent Items or Deleted Items folder in Outlook 2002, you may find that the message has lost the attributes. This behavior occurs only when you import a message.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, send the message from Eudora to Outlook 2002.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION

The attributes that you might add to an e-mail message are high priority, low priority, an attachment, or an inline attachment such as a graphic. If you include an image in the message, the image may not be displayed and extra text appears in the message body.
