SYMPTOMS
The Data Link Control (DLC) protocol may send I-frames on a connection that is in disconnected state.
CAUSE
This issue occurs because there is a problem with the computer that uses the DLC protocol.
RESOLUTION
Windows NT 4.0

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Windows 2000. This problem was first corrected in Windows 2000 Service Pack 2.

The DLC protocol is attempting to send I-frames on a connection that is in a disconnected state. The DLC protocl specification does not allow this behavior. This problem can occur when Cisco routers use Data-Link Switching (DLSW).
