SYMPTOMS
A PC Card device that works correctly in Microsoft Windows 98 may not work in Windows 2000.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if the PC Card device has its configuration information in common memory instead of attribute memory. The Pcmcia.sys driver in Windows 2000 does not recognize such devices.
RESOLUTION
