OL2002: Some E-mails Do Not Appear When You Copy and Paste Large Group of E-mail Messages

SYMPTOMS

In Hotmail, when you copy and paste a large group of messages into a folder all at once, some of the messages may be not be successfully pasted. You may receive no error message that informs you of that fact, or you may receive the following error message:

Can't move the items. You have run out of space on the server. To make space available, delete messages or move messages away from the folders on the server

CAUSE

This behavior can occur when you start to run out of storage space on the server.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, copy and paste one e-mail at a time until you receive the message stating that the server space is limited.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
