SYMPTOMS

When you forward a Contact across domains or over the Internet, the Contact may be forwarded as an e-mail message.

This behavior does not occur if you forward Contacts within a Microsoft Exchange Server site in the same domain.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, when you forward a Contact to someone over the Internet, forward the Contact as a vCard:

  1. Select or open the Contact, and on the Actions menu, click Forward as vCard.
  2. Enter an Internet account e-mail address, and then click Send.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
