SYMPTOMS
When you use Windows 2000 and Services for Macintosh, you may receive the following error message on a blue screen:
CAUSE
The problem may occur when a Macintosh volume is being indexed because Services for Macintosh is dereferencing a null pointer that was supposed to be a Unicode string.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
