SYMPTOMS
After you install Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5, and then install Chinese (Traditional) text display support in the Add/Remove Programs tool, when you try to display a Web page that uses Chinese (Traditional) text display support, the Web page may not be displayed correctly.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you install Chinese (Traditional) text display support in the Add/Remove Programs tool, remove it from the Add/Remove Programs tool, and then reinstall it.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, obtain Internet Explorer 5.5 Service Pack 1 (SP1). SP1 is the latest service pack for Internet Explorer 5.5. You can download Internet Explorer 5.5 SP1 from either of the following Microsoft Web sites:
