SUMMARY
When you are preparing to install Mobile Information Server, you must be a member of the appropriate Microsoft Windows 2000 groups to run the various installation steps.
To run Setup with the /vForestPrep=1 switch, which extends the Active Directory schema to include the objects and attributes that are necessary to complete the Mobile Information Server installation, you must be a member of the Schema Administrators built-in group.
After the Active Directory schema has been extended, for a user to install Mobile Information Server on a Windows 2000-based server, the user must be a member of the server's Local Administrators group, as well as a member of the Domain Administrators group.
