XL2001: Blue Border Around List Object Is Displayed Incorrectly When List Is Filtered

SYMPTOMS

When a list is generated and a filter is applied, the blue border surrounding the list object is not redrawn correctly.
The redrawing of the blue border around the list does not affect the calculations and filter function of the list generated.

WORKAROUND

To work around this issue, follow these steps:

  1. After you enter the data into the list, click Collapse Box to collapse the workbook.
  2. Click Expand Box to expand the workbook.

The blue border redraws correctly.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Excel 2001 Edition.
