SYMPTOMS

When you use one of the programs listed at the beginning of this article to print a three page landscape banner with a Shaped Text item that spans all three pages, a small gap may appear at the beginning of pages two and three.

As a result, the end of page two may be printed on an extra sheet.

CAUSE

The issue can occur if both of the following conditions are true:

  • You print the banner to an Epson Stylus 400 printer.
  • The printer driver for your printer is outdated.


RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Epson to inquire about how to obtain and install the latest printer driver for your printer.

To check the version of the printer driver that is installed on your computer:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.
  2. Right-click your printer icon, and then click Properties.
  3. On the General or the Test tab, click Print Test Page.

The version of the printer driver is printed on the test page.
