SYMPTOMS

When you use one of the Microsoft programs listed at the beginning of this article on a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer, you may not be able to print the following types of envelopes:

  • Quarter-fold (5.75-inch by 4.5-inch)
  • Standard #10 (9.5-inch by 4.35-inch)


CAUSE

The issue can occur if both of the following conditions are true:

  • You are attempting to print to a Hewlett-Packard DeskJet 340 printer.
  • Your printer driver is outdated.


RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Hewlett-Packard to inquire about how to obtain and install the latest printer driver for your printer.
