SYMPTOMS
In Word 2000, a negative number that is enclosed in parentheses is not aligned correctly at a decimal alignment tab. The number is aligned so that the closing parenthesis, instead of the last digit, is aligned at the tab stop position.
CAUSE
This problem occurs when the number is the display text of a Macro button field.
RESOLUTION
