SYMPTOMS
When you attempt to delete all messages in a folder that is displayed in Threaded view, messages in threaded groups are not deleted.
CAUSE
This behavior is by design.
MORE INFORMATION
Entourage uses a separate command to deleted message threads. This prevents message threads from inadvertently being deleted. To deleted message threads:
- In the Folder List pane, click the initial message in the thread. The thread is then expanded to show all messages in the thread.
- On the Edit menu, click Delete Thread.
