SYMPTOMS
The OLE DB Provider for OLAP Services does not return the children for certain members when you drill through the data with a client (PivotTable Service). This only happens on Microsoft Windows 95-based computers or Microsoft Windows 98-based computers that have the Regional Settings set to Danish.
The following error message occurs in the PivotTable Service of Microsoft Excel 2000 instead of showing the children:
RESOLUTION
A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next SQL Server service pack that contains this hotfix.

WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, use either of the following:
- Use a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0-based computer or a Microsoft Windows 2000-based computer as the platform for the client.
-or-
- Set the computer's Regional Settings to English.
STATUS
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SQL Server OLAP Services version 7.0.
